Why Soteria is Needed

Outside of law enforcement, private investigators are the primary means by which individuals, businesses, and attorneys gather evidence and collect information related to potential criminal and civil claims or to take action to halt or prevent abuse, fraud, and harassment.  Sadly, these services, which are often necessary to seek justice when you've been wronged, can be very expensive to access, putting  them out of reach for many.  

Given that marginalized and stigmatized people already experience violence, harassment, and discrimination at higher rates than others groups, Soteria of Washington was founded to provide free and low-cost investigation and security services to the communities we serve.
